The community

About 50 people have decided to live in Gedved to be able to closely follow Anne Sophie’s teachings, to participate in the daily meditations and be part of the creative, vigorous and dynamic community.

They all, families as well as singles, live in private homes separate from Tiger’s Nest. They all have jobs or are students or have retired pensioners.

People in the group are between 25 and 66 years old, and besides there are 10 children aged from 0 to 18.

These people can participate in one or more of the five daily meditations. Furthermore they participate in the maintenance of Tiger’s Nest and the surrounding areas.

Meditation is the core and the basis of all activities at Tiger’s Nest. The collective process provides a lot of learning processes and experiences attached to spirituality and the development of consciousness. It is, however, also necessary to meet the basic challenges of life with great awareness and responsibility – to be a vertical human being in a horizontal world.

With roots in tantra, we experience a great richness in relation to couples, marriage and family life these years. Many new tiger “cubs” are born.

To give these children the best possible frame of life, the private children’s day care *Frie Børn* /Free Kids has been established. *Frie Børn*/Free Kids also welcome children, who are not part of the community.

Tiger’s Nest has it’s own ecological wholesale society, *Kødets Lyst*, where the members can buy various kinds of groceries. In the company of a member, people attending courses are welcome, too.

The Field and the Garden also belong to the community.
